سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
Subḥāna llāhi wa bi-ḥamdih
How perfect Allah is and I praise Him.
a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea.

12 duas
Whoever says:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah said: ‘Whoever says:
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Lā ilāha illā llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahu l-mulku, walahu l-ḥamdu, wahuwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr
None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent.
Ten times; this is like freeing four persons from the descendants of Ishmael.
Aboo Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah said:’ There are Two words, which are light on the tongue, heavy on the Scale and beloved to The Most Gracious:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ
Subḥāna llāhi wa bi-ḥamdihi, subḥna llāhi l-ʿaẓīm
How perfect Allah is and I praise Him. How perfect Allah is, The Supreme.
Aboo Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah said: ‘Saying:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Subḥāna llāhi, wa-l-ḥamdu li-llāhi, walā ilāha illā llāhu, wa-llāhu akbar
How perfect Allah is, and all praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, and Allah is the greatest.
is more beloved to me than everything the sun has risen over.
Sa’d said: ‘We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah, and he said:
‘Are any of you unable to gain a thousand good deeds each day?’ Somebody then asked him: How does one achieve a thousand good deeds? He replied: ‘He should say: How perfect Allah is. one hundred times, for a thousand good deeds are recorded for him or a thousand bad deeds are wiped away.
Jabbir related that the Prophet said: ‘Whoever says:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
Subḥāna llāhi l-ʿaẓīmi wa bi-ḥamdih
How perfect Allah is. The Supreme, and I praise Him.
a palm tree is planted for him in paradise.
ʿAbdullah Ibn Qays related that the Prophet said to him: ‘ O ‘ʿAbdullah Ibn Qays, shall I not inform you of a treasure from the treasures of paradise?’ He then said: ‘Say:
لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ
Lā ḥawla walā quwwata illā bi-llāh
There is no might nor power except with Allah.
the most beloved words to Allah are four:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Subḥāna llāhi, wa-l-ḥamdu li-llāhi, walā ilāha illā llāhu, wa-llāhu akbar
How perfect Allah is, all praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah and Allah is the greatest.

A Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah and said, ‘Teach me words to say.’ He replied:
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيراً، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيراً، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِينَ، لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ
Lā ilāha illā llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, allāhu akbaru ka-bi-yran, wa-l-ḥamdu li-llāhi ka-thīran, subḥāna llāhi rabbi l-ʿālamīna, lā ḥawla walā quwwata illā bi-llāhi l-ʿazīzi l-ḥakīm
There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, without partner. Allah is the Greatest—supremely great. Abundant praise belongs to Allah. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. There is no power and no strength except through Allah, the Almighty, the All-Wise.
The man then said, ‘These are for my Lord, but what is for me?’ He replied:
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَاهْدِنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي
Allāhumma ighfir lī, wa irḥamnī, wa ihdinī, wa irzuqnī
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, and provide for me.
Tariq Al-Ashjaʿee said: ‘When someone would embrace Islam, the Prophet would teach him how to perform prayer and then order him to supplicate with the following words:
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرِ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَاهْدِنِي، وَعَافِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي
Allāhumma ighfiri lī, wa irḥamnī, wa ihdinī, wa ʿāfinī wa irzuqnī
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, guide me, give me health and grant me sustenance.
The best supplication is:
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
Al-ḥamdu li-llāh
All praise is for Allah.
And the best remembrance is:
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ
Lā ilāha illā llāh
There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah.
The good deeds which endure are
سبحان الله والحمد لله، ولا إله إلا الله،والله أكبر،و لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله
Sbḥn allāh wlḥmd li-llāh wl ilāh l allāh wllh kbr w l ḥwl wl qwh l bllh
'Glorified is Allah', and'The praise is for Allah', and'but There is none worthy of worship Allah', and'Allah is the Most Great', and'There is no power and no might except by Allah'
